Jill Metz is the president of the Board of Directors for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Illinois and a cooperating attorney with the ACLU. Her former work as chair of the Lesbian and Gay Rights Project of the ACLU and legislative liaison for the Lesbian and Gay Rights Committee of the Chicago Bar Association have put her at the forefront of the changing laws that affect the LGBTQ community, leading to her induction into the City of Chicago Lesbian and Gay Hall of Fame.
